Trey Haley

Haley hit some bumps in his first extended look at Double-A (4.70 ERA, 1.73 WHIP, 39 walks in 44 innings) thanks in large part to some all-too-common control issues. He can reach triple digits with his fastball and the move to a relief role seems permanent now, but until he can figure out where it's going on a consistent basis it's hard to expect much prolonged success. He could advance quickly if can tame his control issues, but Haley will need some additional seasoning at Double-A. Keep an eye on his health in spring training, as Haley had his AFL season cut short due to right shoulder soreness.
