DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Guards

Terry Rozier, BOS at PHI ($6,900): With Kyrie Irving (knee) ruled out for this game, Rozier becomes difficult to fade. In his nine starts this season, Rozier is averaging 35.3 fantasy points per game. He comes into this matchup hot, averaging 32 DK points across his last seven games, with Irving playing in most of those. In addition, Rozier has been solid against Philly this season, averaging 22 DraftKings points per game in 23 minutes per outing. Look for him to play his usual expanded role in Irving's absence.

Jaylen Brown, BOS at PHI ($5,100): When Irving sits out, Brown posts a 25 percent usage rate while averaging 15 shots and close to 30 minutes a game. He's trending close to 35 fantasy points per game without Irving and is riding a 10-game double-digit scoring streak heading into Tuesday.

Delon Wright, MEM vs. SAN ($3,500): Wright was recently traded to Memphis and it appears he'll be in for a much bigger workload. In his first game with the Grizzlies, Wright played 23 minutes, which isn't ideal, but he averages 16 DK points per game in 18 minutes, so he should provide great value if that workload is bumped up even slightly. Wright enters Tuesday averaging 21 fantasy points per game across his last three outings, which is a solid return on a $3,500 investment.

Forwards

LeBron James, LAL at ATL ($10,300): James is easily the best player on this slate, and he has the best matchup in basketball. in Atlanta. The Hawks currently play at the fastest pace in the league while allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing small forwards. The King comes into this matchup averaging 55.5 DK points across his last eight games. The other elite options are Anthony Davis and Joel Embiid and those two are a bit more difficult to trust. Embiid, because he faces a top-ranked Celtics defense; and Davis, because it's tough to gauge what his workload will be.

Jaren Jackson Jr., MEM vs. SAN ($6,200): Jackson has been superb since Marc Gasol was traded to Toronto. The sample size is still small, but he ranks second on the team behind Mike Conley with a 29.5 percent usage rate, while averaging 1.3 DK points per minute since the deal. On a larger scale, Jackson has scored at least 26 fantasy points in five of his last six games while averaging 33 fantasy points per game since the trade.

Joe Ingles, UTA at GS ($5,000): Ingles has shown that he can exploit this matchup, as he's had his best games against the Warriors this season. The wing is averaging 40.4 DraftKings points per game in his two outings against the Warriors, putting up 14 shots in 35 minutes a game. One of the more consistent role players in the league, Ingles has at least 21 fantasy points in 16 of his last 19 games.

Centers

JaVale McGee, LAL at ATL ($4,800): McGee has regained his starting center duties with Ivica Zubac shipped off to the Clippers, and he's a near-guarantee for closer to 30 minutes of action. In fact, McGee is averaging 36 DK points per game across 28 minutes in the two games since the trade. That's pretty close to his early-season numbers, and he's providing 1.3 DraftKings points per minute for the season.

DeWayne Dedmon, ATL vs. LAL ($4,600): Dedmon is simply too good to be priced this cheaply. His 25.4 fantasy points per game for the season make that case, as that alone is approaching 6X value at this price. The veteran has at least 31 fantasy points in seven of his last 13 games, and he gets a good matchup against a Lakers defense that's struggled to defend centers all season.
