Clippers Host Warriors in Game 4, Down 2-1
The Los Angeles Clippers play host to the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round playoffs at Staples Center on Sunday.

The Warriors (2-1) had one of their worst losses in franchise history when they blew a 30-point lead in Game 2 but Game 3 quieted any doubters they once had. In fact, Golden State won that Game 3 by 27 points and led by double-digits for the entirety of the second half. With DeMarcus Cousins injured, Kevin Durant went into full takeover mode. That's a scary sight for any opponent, especially when one of the best scorers of all time takes 20-plus shots. Without Cousins, this is essentially the team that won titles in three of the last four years and it seems pretty clear that the loss of the big man really won't affect this team too much.

The Clippers (1-2) were projected to get swept in this series but a road win in Game 2 is a victory in its own right. The only problem with that win is that it woke up a sleeping bear. That was crystal clear in the Game 3 beatdown and this might be the Clippers last opportunity to win a game in this postseason. They simply need more from their starters, with Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell carrying the load in the first three games off the bench. You simply can't rely on your bench to do everything and Los Angeles needs some better performances from players like Patrick Beverley, Danilo Gallinari and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

Dating back to the regular season, Golden State has won five of their last six games over Los Angeles. In fact, four of those victories have been decided by double-digit margins.
