Thunder Looking To Even The Series After Big Win In Game 3
The Oklahoma City Thunder play host to the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round playoffs, at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Sunday evening.

After going down 2-0 on the road in Games 1 and 2, the Thunder rebounded in Game 3 on Friday, as they closed the game strong to ensure a much-needed win. Russell Westbrook bounced back from a poor performance in Game 2, with a stellar outing in Game 3, as he tallied 33 points, 11 assists, five rebounds and a block in the win. Paul George also came up big in Game 3, with 22 points, six rebounds, six assists and a steal, while Dennis Schroder added 17 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals, in 32 minutes off the bench. Markieff Morris gave a boost off the bench, with seven points, six rebounds and a steal, in 15 minutes. The Thunder shot 48 percent from the field, in Game 3, which was much better than Games 1 and 2, where they shot around 40 percent. The Thunder were indeed much better at home than on the road during the regular season, while the same applies for the Trail Blazers, meaning it can be expected that home court will play a big part in the results.

Meanwhile, Damian Lillard has been great so far in the series, averaging 30.3 points, 5.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds over three games so far. He has also been efficient, shooting 45 percent from the field, including 42 percent from deep. C.J. McCollum has also played well so far, averaging 26.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists over the first three games. Enes Kanter has been critical in filling the void left by Jusuf Nurkic's absence, as he has given the Blazers an inside presence, averaging 15.0 points and 9.3 rebounds per game so far in the playoffs. Turnovers have been a problem for Portland in the series, as the Blazers gave up 16 in each of the first two games and 18 in Game 3. They will definitely need to take better care of the ball to have their best shot at coming out on top of this series.
