Nuggets Defeat Celtics, 114-105
The Denver Nuggets defeated the host Boston Celtics, 114-105, at TD Garden on Monday.

There were 11 lead changes in this game, as Denver rode a big fourth quarter to victory. In fact, the Nuggets outscored the Celtics, 34-25, in the fourth quarter, as they achieved a game-high 12-point lead in the final minutes. Rebounding was the difference for the Nuggets, as they outrebounded the Celtics, 51-37. Denver also shot 49 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range while holding Boston to 42 percent from the field and 31 percent from long range. Denver also won the fastbreak points battle, 18-7 and the points in the paint differential, 46-38.

The Nuggets (47-22) were led by Nikola Jokic, as he tallied 21 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three blocks. Will Barton accrued 20 points, four rebounds and two assists. Gary Harris amassed 16 points, four rebounds and two assists. Paul Millsap finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.

The Celtics (43-28) were led by Kyrie Irving, as he accumulated 30 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Al Horford generated 20 points, six rebounds and six assists. Marcus Morris amassed 12 points and five rebounds while Jayson Tatum accumulated eight points, seven rebounds and six assists.

On deck for the Celtics is a road matchup versus the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. As for the Nuggets, they return to action on Thursday in a road matchup versus the Washington Wizards.
