Heat Topples Thunder, 116-107
The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder, 116-107, at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Monday evening.

The Thunder (42-29) were significantly compromised coming into Monday's game, considering Russell Westbrook was sitting out the game due to a one-game suspension as a result of having earned a 16th technical foul on the season. However, with Paul George still at full health and available, OKC figured to still have enough to remain competitive against the visiting Heat (34-36). That held true in the first half, as Miami held a modest 58-55 halftime advantage. The visitors then appeared to gain serious separation by extending their lead by another eight points during the third and extending it to as much as 19 at the 7:29 mark mark of the fourth quarter. The home squad would finish on a 25-15 run from that point, but the Thunder never got closer than six points.

Goran Dragic led the way for the Heat with a 26-point, 11-assist double-double that also included five rebounds and two steals. Dwyane Wade followed with 25 points, complementing them with five assists, four rebounds, one steal and one block. Kelly Olynyk delivered 18 points, nine rebounds, one assist and one steal. James Johnson poured in 14 points and also supplied three rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks.J Josh Richardson continued struggling from the field with a 3-for-14 performance and mustered nine points, seven rebounds, six assists and one steal. Bam Adebayo and Derrick Jones, Jr. had matching eight-point tallies, with Adebayo also hauling in seven rebounds and dishing out four assists.

Paul George paced the Thunder with 31 points, adding nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks. Jerami Grant generated a 27-point, 10-rebound double-double that also included one assist and three blocks. Dennis Schroder finished with 20 points, six assists and three rebounds. Steven Adams generated a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double that also included three assists, two blocks and one steal. Terrance Ferguson poured in nine points while also posting four rebounds, two assists and one steal.

The Heat next pay a visit to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday evening, while the Thunder remains home and tangles with the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night as well.
