DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

There are only five games in the NBA on Tuesday, but the evening will be loaded with superstars since the Oklahoma City Thunder, Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors all in action. Let's take a look across all five games at some players with favorable matchups to consider for your DraftKings entry.

Guards

Russell Westbrook, OKC vs. BKN ($11,800): Westbrook has an extremely high floor, scoring at least 51 DraftKings points in seven of his last eight games. He has an excellent matchup Tuesday against the Nets, who play at the fifth-fastest pace (101.9 possessions per game) in the league and allow the seventh-most DraftKings points per game (47.9) to opposing point guards. It's tough when one player takes up so much of your budget, but Westbrook should still be worth this price.

Tim Hardaway Jr., NY at GS ($6,700): Hardaway has been one of the leaders on offense for the Knicks when healthy, averaging 21.0 points and 3.8 three-pointers in five games since returning from injury. His move to the Knicks has given him a significant boost in value, and he's averaging career-highs almost across the board. The Warriors play at the third-fastest pace (102.5) in the league, so look for Hardaway to have plenty of opportunities to be productive as the Knicks try to keep up with their high scoring offense.

Dejounte Murray, SA vs. CLE ($4,600): All indications are that the Spurs are moving Tony Parker to the bench for the foreseeable future with Murray taking over as the starting point guard. Murray started and played 28 minutes Sunday against the Pacers, scoring 28.8 DraftKings points. The Cavaliers allow the fifth-most DraftKings points per game (48.1) to opposing point guards, making Murray a viable option at this cheap price.

Forwards

LaMarcus Aldridge, SA vs. CLE ($8,700): Aldridge continues to lead the Spurs with Kawhi Leonard (quad) injured, scoring at least 44 DraftKings points in seven of his last 10 games. The Spurs will be even more shorthanded Tuesday with Pau Gasol (wrist) already ruled out. Aldridge should get heavy minutes against a Cavaliers team that is struggling defensively right now, making him someone to strongly consider for your entry.

Kyle Anderson, SA vs. CLE ($5,600): Anderson has filled in for Leonard in the starting lineup, playing at least 30 minutes in three of his last four games. The 30-minute mark is a key threshold for Anderson, who averages 9.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.0 block in 13 games when playing at least 30 minutes. Not only is Leonard out, but Rudy Gay (heel) and Manu Ginobili (thigh) won't play Tuesday either. Anderson should get plenty of minutes, making him a viable option at this reasonable price.

Bogdan Bogdanovic, SAC at ORL ($5,500): Bogdanovic is finally seeing consistent playing time, logging at least 29 minutes in eight of his last nine games, as the Kings have finally shifted toward a youth movement. He's taken advantage of the opportunity, scoring at least 25 DraftKings points in seven of those eight contests. The Magic allow the fourth-most DraftKings points per game (44.1) to opposing shooting guards, leaving Bogdanovic as someone to consider using again Tuesday.

Centers

Steven Adams, OKC vs. BKN ($6,800): The Thunder have serious depth problems on their roster, especially up front. It's meant extra playing time for Adams, who is averaging a career-high 32 minutes per game. He's been productive all season and has scored at least 36.3 DraftKings points in four straight games. Tuesday brings an excellent matchup against a Nets team that allows the most DraftKings points per game (55.9) to opposing centers. Don't hesitate to put Adams into your lineup.

Bismack Biyombo, ORL vs. SAC ($6,100): Biyombo has been a bit inconsistent lately, scoring 21.5 DraftKings points or less in three of his last six games. However, he's shown a high upside, scoring at least 45.5 DraftKings points in two of the other three games. The good news for Tuesday is the Kings allow the third-most DraftKings points per game (55.1) to opposing centers. Biyombo could be in store for another strong stat line.

Skal Labissiere, SAC at ORL ($4,400): The Kings shift to playing their young players more has benefited Labissiere, who has played at least 28 minutes in each of his last three games. While his ceiling isn't very high, he did manage to score at least 24 DraftKings points in both of his last two games. With increased playing time likely on tap again Tuesday, he's worth consideration if you want a cheap center in tournament play.
