DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Tuesday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

Tuesday brings eight games in the NBA, highlighted by a star studded matchup between the Warriors and Thunder. With plenty of options to wade through on DraftKings, here are some players with favorable matchups who could hopefully help you bring home some money.

Guards

Russell Westbrook, OKC at GS ($11,500): The Thunder have lost four in a row, but Westbrook has still managed to score at least 52 DraftKings points in three straight games. Although his 34.9% usage rate is down from his crazy season last year, it still ranks second-highest in the league. He torched the Warriors for 34 points, 10 rebounds, nine assists and four steals in their first meeting this season, so expect another valuable performance Tuesday.

Josh Jackson, PHO at LAL ($5,900): Jackson has played at least 28 minutes in four straight games, averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.8 three-pointers during that stretch. He should be in line for expanded minutes again Tuesday with Devin Booker (hip) already ruled out. The Lakers play at the fastest pace (103.1 possessions per game) and allow the fourth-most points per game (110) in the league, giving Jackson the potential to be an excellent value play.

Josh Hart, LAL vs. PHO ($4,700): The Lakers continue to change up their rotations with Hart now playing at least 35 minutes in back-to-back games. He's taken full advantage of the opportunity, scoring at least 36.3 DraftKings points in both contests. He's not going to get many assists, but he did grab at least 11 rebounds in each of those two games. He won't cost much Tuesday and gets to face a Suns team that allows the most points per game (112.2) in the league, making him someone to consider for your entry.

Forwards

Kevin Durant, GS vs. OKC ($9,800): Durant provides a high floor in DFS, scoring at least 41.5 DraftKings points in 13 of his last 15 games. Even though the Warriors are loaded with talent, Durant's 29.6% usage rate still ranks him inside the top-15 in the league. Combine that with the Warriors playing at the second fastest pace (102.5) in the league and Durant has excellent upside again Tuesday.

T.J. Warren, PHO at LAL ($6,700): With Booker sidelined Tuesday, Warren becomes the main scoring threat for the Suns. He already has a career-high 25.4% usage rate this season, ranking inside the top-35 in the league. With the Lakers porous defense and up-tempo style of play, Warren could provide plenty of production at this mid-tier price.

Jonathon Simmons, ORL vs. CLE ($4,700): Although he doesn't take a lot of shots, Simmons is shooting 54.2% from the field in his last eight games. He gets to face a struggling Cavaliers defense Tuesday, which could lead to another valuable offensive performance. In his two previous games against the Cavaliers this season, Simmons averaged 17.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per contest. If you are looking to save money at forward, Simmons has some upside.

Centers

Clint Capela, HOU at BKN ($7,500): Capela continues to be the anchor in the middle for the Rockets, posting a double-double in four of his last six games. He's also provided excellent defensive numbers, blocking 10 shots in the last three games. Tuesday brings a favorable matchup as not only are the Rockets and Nets both in the top-eight in the league in pace of play, but the Nets also allow the most DraftKings points per game (56.5) to opposing centers.

Enes Kanter, NY vs. MIL ($7,300): The Knicks are struggling right now, but Kanter has still managed to score at least 31.8 DraftKings points in eight of his last 10 games. He's been a monster on the glass, averaging 15.4 rebounds in his last five contests. The Bucks allow the fifth-most DraftKings points per game (54) to opposing centers and Kanter just scored 41 DraftKings points against them Friday, making him someone to consider for your entry Tuesday.

Brook Lopez, LAL vs. PHO ($5,100): In an odd turn of events, Lopez has now logged at least 28 minutes in back-to-back contests. He had played at least 20 minutes in only one of his previous 10 games before that stretch. He's turned back the clock with the added opportunities, scoring at least 28.8 DraftKings points in both games. The Lakers might be showcasing him before the trade deadline, so it could be worth the risk using him in tournament play Tuesday. If he gets increased playing time again, he could easily out produce his price point.
