DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

This article is part of our DraftKings NBA series.

With the NBA off Monday, Sunday brings a busier than normal schedule with 13 games. Nine of them make up the main slate on DraftKings, leaving you with plenty of options for your entry. Here are some players with favorable matchups who could help you take home some money.

Guards

Russell Westbrook, OKC at NO ($11,500): Westbrook has had some monster performances lately, scoring at least 71.5 DraftKings points in three of his last eight contests. He has one of the highest floors in DFS due to his 34.3 percent usage rate, scoring no fewer than 46.3 DraftKings points in any of those eight games. Expect him to get plenty of opportunities to provide value again Sunday against the Pelicans, who play at the third-fastest pace (102.5 possessions per game) in the league.

Isaiah Taylor, ATL vs. ORL ($5,800): With Dennis Schroder (ankle) out, Taylor will likely be the Hawks starting point guard for the rest of the season. He's excelled in that role so far, scoring at least 25.5 DraftKings points in each of his last four starts. He'll have another great chance to be productive Sunday against the Magic, who allow the most DraftKings points per game (49.2) to opposing point guards.

Troy Daniels, PHO at GS ($4,800): The Suns won't have much depth Sunday with Devin Booker (hand), T.J. Warren (knee) and Alex Len (ankle) already ruled out. Daniels has played at least 28 minutes in seven straight games due to all of the Suns' injuries, scoring at least 23.3 DraftKings points six times. Both the Suns and the Warriors are in the top-four in the league in pace of play, which should leave Daniels with added potential Sunday.

Forwards

Josh Jackson, PHO at GS ($7,400): Jackson is one of the best offensive players left standing on the Suns, resulting in him scoring at least 31.8 DraftKings points in seven straight games. One of those came against these same Warriors when he scored 54.5 DraftKings points. He's getting a ton of playing time, logging at least 35 minutes in six of those contests. Given Jackson's expanded role and the up-tempo pace at which this game will likely be played, Jackson is a great option to consider.

Taurean Prince, ATL vs. ORL ($7,200): The Hawks have given their young players expanded roles down the stretch, especially Prince, who posted a 26.5 percent usage rate in March. He was deadly from behind the arc, averaging 4.2 three-pointers per contest in the month. Both the Hawks and the Magic are in the top-10 in the league in pace of play, so Prince could be in line for another big offensive performance.

Anthony Tolliver, DET at BKN ($5,300):Blake Griffin (ankle) is out for at least a week, opening up a starting role for Tolliver. He's played well so far, scoring at least 23.5 DraftKings points in back-to-back contests. The Nets allow the third-most points per game (110.5) in the league and the eighth-most DraftKings points per game (48) to opposing power forwards, making Tolliver a viable option again Sunday.

Centers

Andre Drummond, DET at BKN ($10,700): Drummond continued to play well after the Pistons acquired Griffin, but he's the undisputed main man again with Griffin now out. He's posted monster performances in the last two games that Griffin has missed, scoring at least 52.3 DraftKings points both times. The Nets allow the most DraftKings points per game (58.6) to opposing centers, so Drummond might explode again in this contest.

Nikola Vucevic, ORL at ATL ($8,500): The Magic have nothing left to play for, but Vucevic has still logged at least 31 minutes in three straight games. He continues to provide plenty of value, scoring at least 41 DraftKings points in each of those contests. The Hawks allow the third-most DraftKings points per game (54.8) to opposing centers, so don't expect them to be able to slow down Vucevic.

Zach Collins, POR vs. MEM ($3,400): The Trail Blazers will be thin up front Sunday with Ed Davis (ankle) out of action. Davis was injured in their last game Friday and played just 12 minutes as a result. Collins stepped up to play 21 minutes in his absence, scoring 25 DraftKings points. The Grizzlies are tanking hard down the stretch, so this game could get out of hand early. Collins should get added playing time in this game, making him someone to consider taking a chance on in tournament play.
