GuardG
Leaves Miami (Ohio) program

July 10, 2018
A Miami (Ohio) spokesman announced Tuesday that Ringo is no longer a part of the program, Marcus Hartman of the Middletown Journal-News reports.
ANALYSIS
It's unclear if Ringo was dismissed for the team or opted to leave the program on his own accord. Either way, his departure is a major loss for the RedHawks after the point guard started 29 games in 2017-18 and earned third-team All-MAC honors after finishing ninth in the nation with a school-record 236 assists. Ringo, who chipped in 9.6 points per game, was also a defensive stalwart averaging 6.9 boards per contest while ranking fourth in Division 1 with 91 steals. He'll have one year of eligibility remaining should Ringo elect to move on to another school.
