Begelton was taken off the depth chart ahead of Sunday's game against the Eskimos.

With the return of Marquay McDaniel (undisclosed) and Marken Michel (undisclosed), Begelton got squeezed out of the active roster heading into this weekend's Western Final. Were the team to advance to the Grey Cup next weekend, there's a chance Begelton will be added back onto the roster.

Begelton posted four receptions for 68 yards in Sunday's 15-9 win over the Roughriders.

Starting at slotback for the second consecutive week, Begelton equaled a career high in receptions while setting a new high-water mark in receiving yards. He also paced Stampeders receivers in both areas on the night and now has four catches apiece in consecutive games. The 24-year-old will look to continue expanding his role in the passing attack when Calgary faces off with the Alouettes in Week 15.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Begelton will start at slotback in Sunday's game against the Roughriders.

Begelton started last week in place of an injured DaVaris Daniels (knee), and that will be the case again in Week 14. He will look to follow up on last week's quality outing that saw him produce 50 yards and a score.

Begelton totaled four receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 27-13 win over the Lions.

The 24-year-old recorded his first career catch back in Week 9, but he'd been inactive since. Begelton thus posted career bests in receptions and receiving yardage Saturday, scoring the clinching touchdown on a 20-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter in the process. Naturally, it's difficult to project what his week-to-week role might be moving forward, but he certainly bears monitoring as a potential low-cost DFS option.

Begelton is listed as inactive ahead of Saturday's game against the Argonauts.

The specifics surrounding Begelton's absence are currently unknown, but given that he is a depth option for the Stampeders' wide receiving corps, it shouldn't have much of an impact on the team's offensive game plan.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Begelton is listed as a reserve slotback on the depth chart for Thursday's matchup with the Argonauts.

Begelton just joined the Stampeders several weeks ago, but he garnered a spot on the active roster this week thanks to an injury to fellow pass catcher Kamar Jorden (knee). Begelton will essentially be the Stampeders' fifth option at slotback, however, so don't expect him to play a key role in Thursday's game plan.
