RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught three passes for 58 yards in Saturday's 41-19 loss to Winnipeg.

Burnham was targeted five times in the contest. He came one yard short of doubling his yardage total on the season with his 43-yard catch with 1:32 left in the game. Until the Lions find some consistency at quarterback, it may be difficult to count on the 28-year-old to produce, especially in any consistent manner. He'll try to break out Week 5 when the Lions host the Blue Bombers in a rematch.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught six passes for 38 yards in Saturday's 22-10 win over Montreal.

He also recovered a Corey Watson fumble. Most of Burnham's work came close to the line of scrimmage, as he only managed two catches of longer than six yards, with a long of 12. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old is coming off of back-to-back 1,200-yard seasons and remains one of the Lions' primary weapons. The Tulsa product will have to wait for a bye before he attempts to prove it Week 3 at Edmonton.

June 15, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham is listed as a starting slotback for Saturday's season opener against the Alouettes.

Burnham's receiving yardage total dipped a bit last season, but he did find paydirt seven times after doing so only that many in his previous 31 games. Burnham and fellow slotback Emmanuel Arceneaux finished either first or second in all of receptions, receiving yards, and receiving scores on the Lions the last two years, and they figure to dominate the targets in the passing game once again in 2018.

November 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham corralled six receptions for 53 yards in Saturday's 40-13 loss to the Argonauts.

Burnham couldn't quite measure up to the season-best 10-catch, 152-yard, one-touchdown performance he put together in Week 19, but he did draw even with Emmanuel Arceneaux for the co-lead in receptions on the night. The 27-year-old posted at least five catches in each of his last three games and finished the season with career highs in receptions (81) and touchdowns (7). Looking ahead to 2018, Burnham projects as one of the Lions' top passing game weapons.

October 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught 10 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 26-27 win over the Blue Bombers.

It was his first 100-yard game since Week 12, but Burnham has kept his fantasy value afloat by getting into the end zone four times in his last three games. He'll need five catches in next Saturday's season finale at home against the Argos to set a new career high in that category.

October 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught five passes for a team-high 62 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 35-29 overtime loss to Edmonton.

He also added one carry for 12 yards. Burnham is now just three yards shy of his second straight 1000-yard campaign, and his six TDs doubles his previous career high with two games left on the Lions' schedule.

September 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham posted six receptions for 74 yards and also brought in a two-point conversion pass in Friday's 24-23 loss to the Tiger-Cats.

Burnham has developed into perhaps the most consistent producer among the Lions' wideouts, now having posted at least five receptions in four of his last five contests. The only recent blemish in his game has been the fact he hasn't visited the end zone since Week 10, but he's otherwise proven to have a safe fantasy floor despite the Lions' upheaval at the quarterback position. He'll look to keep up his recent stretch versus the Redblacks in Week 16 following a Week 15 bye.

September 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham totaled three receptions for 54 yards in Saturday's 27-13 loss to the Stampeders.

Burnham had been on a productive run coming into Saturday's matchup, one that had seen him log four 100-yard efforts over a five-game period, including in three consecutive contests. However, that streak fell victim to quarterback Jonathon Jennings' significant struggles against the tough Stamps defense, who goaded him into three interceptions. Burnham still paced the Lions in receiving yards and clearly is a pivotal asset to the team's offense, so he remains a viable fantasy option each week. He'll look to get back to his prior level of production in Week 14 against the vulnerable Tiger-Cats secondary.

September 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham notched six receptions for 101 yards in Friday's 41-18 win over the Als. He also caught a two-point conversion pass.

Despite teammate Emmanuel Arceneaux outpacing him slightly, Burnham turned in another impressive effort, eclipsing the century mark in receiving yards for the third consecutive week. The veteran wideout has been outstanding throughout the majority of the season, displaying rapport with both Travis Lulay (knee) and Jonathon Jennings. He'll look to continue his strong stretch of play in a tough Week 13 matchup against the Stamps.

August 26, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) recorded eight receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 31-24 loss to the Redblacks.

Burnham immediately re-established himself as a force in the offense after a two-game absence, and his three-yard touchdown with 2:16 remaining in the game brought the Lions to within 31-23. The veteran wideout has posted consecutive 100-yard receiving days around his recent injury and has eclipsed the century mark in three of his past four games overall. He looks to have particularly strong rapport with Travis Lulay, so Burnham would likely benefit if the Lions opt to keep the veteran behind center after their Week 11 bye.

August 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) will play in Saturday's game against the Redblacks.

Burnham being active comes as no surprise after returning to the practice field this week. He's been absent the last two weeks with a foot injury, but he'll assume his role as the Lions' starting slotback in Week 10.

August 23, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) expects to return to action Saturday against the Redblacks.

Burham missed the last two games after injuring his foot, but he was able to get back on the practice field this week, so signs are pointing toward him being back in a starting slotback spot for the Lions in Week 10.

August 18, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Stampeders, Farhan Lalji of TSN reports.

Burnham has been nursing a foot injury for a week and a half now and after testing it out during pregame warmups, it was ultimately decided that he'd need some more time off for rest and recovery. Wide receiver Nick Moore (undisclosed) will also miss Friday's game, meaning more potential targets for guys like Chris Williams, Shaw Johnson and Emmanuel Arceneaux in the passing game. Burnham's next opportunity to play will be next Saturday against the Redblacks.

August 17, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) is listed as a starting slotback for Friday's game against the Stampeders.

Burnham was listed in the same spot last week and ultimately did not play, so he is not a lock to play in Week 9 just yet. However, he at least has a chance to return to action this week. A final call on his status for Friday's contest will be revealed when the Lions release their inactives prior to game time.

August 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) did not take part in Tuesday's practice, Farhan Lalji of TSN reports.

Burnham continues to be slowed by the foot injury that prevent him from playing Sunday, and with little time before the Lions' next game Friday, he is danger of missing a second straight contest.

August 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Roughriders.

Burnham went down during Wednesday's practice with a right foot injury, and while details haven't come out regarding the severity of the pass catcher's injury, it is serious enough to keep him out for at least one contest. Expect the team to update Burnham's status throughout the week leading up to Friday's game against the Stampeders.

August 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham (foot) is questionable to take part in Sunday's matchup against the Roughriders, Ian Hamilton of Riderville.com reports.

Burnham, who suffered a right foot injury during Wednesday's practice, should be considered questionable for Sunday's tilt. More updates should be provided during the time leading up to kickoff.

August 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burham suffered an apparent right foot injury during Wednesday's practice, according to Josh Clipperton of The Canadian Press.

The extent of Burnham's setback is not certain, but he limped off the practice field and was attended to by team trainers, which at the least puts his Week 8 availability in question. Expect another update on Burham's status when more details are released.

August 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham posted five receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 30-15 win over the Riders.

Burnham brought in a 13-yard touchdown on the first play of the second quarter to give the Lions a 12-0 lead at the time, and he later added a game-long 50-yard reception. The 27-year-old now has 100-yard receiving efforts in two of the last three weeks and has accomplished the feat on three occasions overall this season. While the return of fellow wideout Chris Williams figures to impact Burhnam's targets to a degree, it should help open up the field that much more as well. Burnham will look to follow up Saturday's eye-opening performance with another strong effort in a Week 8 rematch against the Riders.

July 29, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught two passes for 43 yards in Friday's 37-26 loss to Edmonton.

Despite the fact that the Lions were playing from behind nearly the entire game, backup quarterback Travis Lulay wasn't able to stretch the field, and his rare attempts to force the ball Burnham's way did not produce positive results. The 27-year-old remains the team's most dangerous weapon, however, and even if Jonathon Jennings (shoulder) isn't able to return to action next week, expect the receiver to have a better showing at home against Saskatchewan.

July 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught six passes for a season-high 149 yards in Friday's 45-42 win over the Blue Bombers.

Even with Jonathon Jennings (shoulder) out of action, Burnham remained the most dangerous weapon in the Lions' arsenal, topping 100 yards for the second time in five games. The 27-year-old set a new personal best with 1,392 receiving yards last year, but he's well on his way to breaking that mark in 2017.

July 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught four passes for 53 yards in Thursday's 23-16 win over the Alouettes.

He led the Lions' receiving corps in yards, although running back Jeremiah Johnson was the team's overall leading receiver Thursday. Burnham's had one big game and two merely solid ones so far and is still looking for his first TD, but that could come as soon as next week against the Tiger-Cats defense that got torched by the Argos back in Week 1.

June 30, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught nine passes for 118 yards in Friday's 28-15 win over the Argos.

He was Johnathon Jennings' main target all night, and Burnham is already well on his way to topping last season's career highs of 79 catches and 1392 receiving yards. The 27-year-old's fantasy value is slightly limited by his lack of looks in the end zone, however -- he has yet to score in 2017, and now has only six TDs in 33 career CFL games.

June 25, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham totaled 43 yards on four receptions in Saturday's 30-27 loss to the Eskimos.

Burnham and the rest of the Lions passing game had a difficult time finding a rhythm Saturday, but his four catches did tie him with Jeremiah Johnson for second on the team. The 27-year-old wideout projects to be a key target for quarterback Jonathon Jennings this season after racking up career highs in receptions (79), yards (1,392) and touchdowns (3) over 18 games in 2016.

June 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burham caught four passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' preseason finale.

Burnham appeared in just the lone exhibition contest, but his production indicates he will be ready to go in Week 1. Burham scored just three touchdowns last season, but he finished fourth in the CFL in receiving yards, and his average of 17.6 YPC was the best among all receivers that hauled in at least 20 passes.

February 12, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham re-signed with the Lions on Sunday.

Burnham inked a two-year deal with the Lions that will keep him in BC through the 2018 season. A 2016 CFL All-Star, Burnham reeled in 79 catches for 1,392 yards last year.

November 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham notched four receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 32-31 semi-final victory over the Blue Bombers.

Burnham played a particularly key role, serving as the de facto No. 1 receiver after Ernest Arceneaux exited the game for the good in the third quarter due to injury. The 26-year-old displayed his big-play chops this past season with career highs in catches (79), yardage (1,392) and touchdowns (three), along with an impressive 17.6 YPC. He may be relied on more than usual in next Sunday's Western Conference final against the Stamps if Arceneaux is unable to return to action. Burnham found plenty of success against Calgary's secondary during the Lions' three regular season meetings with them, totaling 15 receptions for 269 yards and a score.

November 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham totaled 96 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in Saturday's 41-18 victory over the Roughriders.

The 26-year-old wrapped up his career season with his best reception and yardage totals since Week 16, as well as his first touchdown since way back in Week 8. Burnham encouragingly played in a career-high 18 games this season while posting career best numbers in receptions (79), yardage (1,392) and touchdowns (three). While Emmanuel Arceneaux is clearly Jonathon Jennings' top option in the passing game, Burnham clearly checks in right behind him, and given the prolific nature of the Lions' passing attack, there should still be plenty of opportunity for him heading into the postseason.

October 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham totaled 67 yards on four receptions in Saturday's 24-6 win over the Roughriders.

Burnham's four catches equaled Emmanuel Arceneaux's total for the co-lead on the Lions. The 26-year-old has at least four receptions in each of the last four games, but he hasn't scored since way back in Week 8 against the Ti-Cats.

October 23, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham gained 78 yards and hauled in a two-point conversion on five receptions in Saturday's 32-25 win over the Eskimos.

Burnham served as Jonathon Jennings' second-favorite target on the day, significantly trailing Emmanuel Arceneaux but putting together a solid effort regardless. The 26-year-old has only visited the end zone twice this season, but has enjoyed a career season otherwise, posting personal bests in receptions (68) and yardage (1,229) over 16 contests.

October 9, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught nine passes for 208 yards in Saturday's loss to the Blue Bombers.

The 208 receiving yards were easily a career high for Burnham, topping his 139 yards from Week 6 earlier this year, He's still only scored twice in 14 games, but his 59 catches for 1103 yards have given him plenty of value in a breakout season.

September 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught six passes for 138 yards in Friday's win over the Alouettes.

It's was the third-year receiver's third 100-yard game of the season but his first since late July. Burnham now leads the Lions with 848 receiving yards on the season, good for fifth in his CFL.

September 1, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham totaled 54 yards on four receptions in Wednesday's 16-13 victory over the Argos.

The Tulsa product checked in behind leading receiver Emmanuel Arceneaux for the second straight week, managing to put up respectable if unspectacular numbers overall. Burnham only has a pair of scores on the season and none in the last three games, but has already established career bests in receptions (41) and yards (710) in 2016.

August 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught six passes for 86 yards in Thursday's win over the Redblacks.

He continues to thrive with Jonathon Jennings under center, and Burnham has now caught at least five passes in four of his last six games with at least 70 receiving yards in five of his last six. He's also set new career highs on the season with 37 catches for 656 yards through just nine games.

August 14, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham contributed 71 yards and a touchdown on two receptions in Saturday's 45-38 victory over the Ti-Cats.

The 26-year-old made the most of his limited opportunities, hauling in a 38-yard touchdown to open the scoring following a Zach Collaros fumble and subsequent recovery by the Lions. Burnham added a 33-yard catch later in the game, and is averaging a solid 18 yards per reception on his 30 catches this season. He figures to continue serving as a vital cog in the Lions' prolific passing attack as the season unfolds.

August 5, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught five passes for a team-high 89 yards in Thursday's win over the Alouettes.

He continues to thrive as one of Jonathon Jennings' top targets in arguably the CFL's youngest and most exciting offense. Burnham now has 28 catches for 457 yards and one TD through six games and he shows no signs of slowing down.

July 30, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham caught nine passes for 139 yards and his first touchdown of the season in Friday's overtime loss to the Stampeders.

He was once again Jonathon Jennings' top target and Burnham now has 23 catches for 368 yards through five games. With Jennings in his second CFL season and Burnham in his third the Lions' passing game would appear to have a very bright future, but the present isn't looking too bad either.

July 17, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham tallied 103 yards on five catches in Saturday's 40-27 victory over the Roughriders.

Although he wasn't a part of the Lions' touchdown barrage, Burnham still managed to post the second-highest yardage total among the team's wideouts on the night. The performance was a nice bounce-back effort for the 26-year-old, who'd posted a pair of lackuster two-catch outings over Weeks 2-3. Burnham now has 14 receptions for 229 yards through the first four games, putting him on well on pace to blow past the career-best 35 catches and 423 yards he managed in 2015.

June 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham garnered a team-high 88 yards on his five receptions in Saturday's 20-18 victory over the Stamps.

The third-year receiver took on the lead role he's expected to hold throughout the season, after taking a solid step forward in 2015. Burnham totaled 423 yards on 35 receptions in his sophomore campaign, while adding a pair of touchdowns. The 26-year-old Tulsa product should be a frequent target of quarterback Jonathon Jennings when the latter looks downfield in 2016.

June 18, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Burnham hauled in three receptions for 27 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 31-21 preseason loss to the Stampeders.

The third-year wideout was on the receiving end of an impressive 21-yard touchdown throw from starting quarterback Jonathon Jennings on the opening drive. Burnham totaled four catches for 50 yards in the preseason, after notching 41 receptions with three touchdowns over his first two CFL seasons. With a modestly successful campaign last season, the Tulsa product could be primed for a breakout 2016 with the promising Jennings behind center.
