Haidara signed a one-year contract with the Alouettes on Tuesday.

Haidara appeared in all 16 games for the Alouettes in 2017, but he mainly served as a depth receiver for the club. He finished the campaign with only five grabs for 28 yards last season and will likely resume his role as a depth wideout for Montreal next season.

Haidara posted five catches for 28 yards in Saturday's 33-19 loss to the Argonauts. He also caught a two-point conversion pass.

The 28-year-old took posted his first five catches of the campaign and first since 2015 when he was with the Roughriders. Haidara could potentially see a more expanded role in the Als offense going forward, although the likes of B.J. Cunningham, Ernest Jackson and Tyrell Sutton figure to command the majority of attention most weeks. Haidara will try to put together a successful encore to Saturday's effort versus the Stampeders in Week 15.

Haidara (undisclosed) is listed as a reserve wide receiver for Thursday's game against the Redblacks.

Haidara was placed on the injured list for Week 10, but he is back on the depth chart this week. He figures to play a complimentary role behind starting receivers Ernest Jackson and George Johnson.

Haidara was placed on the one-game injured list in advance of Thursday's matchup with the Blue Bombers.

It's not clear why Haidara was deactivatedk, but he will not suit up in Week 10. Stephen Adekolu is listed as Montreal's No. 3 receiver this week.

Haidara was signed by the Alouettes on Monday.

Haidara was released by the Blue Bombers less than a week ago, but has already found a new squad in Montreal. He wasn't a productive option in Winnipeg, but he'll look to compete for a spot somewhere in the Alouettes' receiving corps.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Haidara was released by the Blue Bombers on Wednesday.

Haidara hadn't had much of a role for Winnipeg this season, not recording a single catch and spending a bulk of the season on the practice roster. His release frees up a roster spot, but otherwise shouldn't impact the team much.
