RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stanford caught both his targets for 33 yards in Thursday's 18-13 defeat of Hamilton.

Stanford had done nothing but draw a penalty until David Watford hit him for four yards in the third quarter, but his 29-yarder from Brandon Bridge as time wound down in the fourth set up the game-winning score from Marcus Thigpen. The former Jayhawk has at least two catches in three of four games this season, yet his 33 yards in this one represent a season high. Nevertheless, the 23-year-old has already tied a career mark with his fourth game played this season and has more than doubled his career yardage total with 102 so far. Stanford will look to keep edging his way into the offense after the bye in a Week 6 rematch with the Ticats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stanford will start at wide receiver in Friday's game against the Argonauts, Taylor Shire of Global News Regina reports.

Stanford did not suit up for the Roughriders last year until Week 18, but he will be in the lineup right out of the gate this season. He will be a bit down the pass-catcher pecking order, though, so it remains to be seen how frequently he produces.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stanford will start at wide receiver in Friday's game against the Stampeders.

Stanford is set to play for the first time this year with fellow wide receiver Duron Carter starting at cornerback this week. Carter is expected to see action on offense as well -- he is the team's leading receiver after all -- so Stanford might not see a typical starter's snap count.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Stanford was released by the Roughriders on Wednesday.

Stanford caught one pass for 13 yards this season with the Roughriders. He could be picked up by another team, but it seems unlikely he will be fantasy -relevant.
