Running Back Edmonton Eskimos
July 13, 2018 C.J. Gable News
RotoWire Fantasy Analysis
Gable rushed 10 times for 51 yards and recorded one catch for six yards in the Eskimos' 16-15 win over the Argonauts on Friday. He left the game in the fourth quarter with a head injury and will be further evaluated.
The veteran back put together a much better performance than in the Week 4 upset loss to the Argonauts, when he'd held to a season-low 2.8 yards per rush. Gable was able to rebound with his second-highest YPC of the young season (5.1), and any extended absence on his part would undoubtedly hurt the Eskimos offense. The bye week likely couldn't come at a better time for Gable, who'll have an extra week to try and get ready for a Week 7 matchup versus the Alouettes.
