May 15, 2019
Lewis announced April 9 via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Western Michigan.
ANALYSIS
Lewis adds some experience to the Western Michigan receiving room after collecting 88 receptions across three seasons at Wake Forest. He was on track to exhaust his eligibility in 2018, but ended up sitting out the entire season due to an undisclosed injury that Lewis indicated could have been a career-ending setback. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound receiver is apparently healthy enough to play again, with his move to Western Michigan effectively confirming that he received a medical hardship waiver from the NCAA.
