Injury Leg
2018 Fantasy Outlook
The loss of Scott Frost raised some concerns about a drop off for Milton, but UCF's hire of Josh Heupel from Missouri should keep the offense humming. Milton accounted for 45 total touchdowns and 4,650 total yards at the helm of the No.1 scoring offense in 2017, and while that'll be tough to top, there isn't a major regression coming, either. UCF is also expected to play at a higher tempo this season, which is always something to consider when choosing a quarterback. The offense will look different, but Milton will still have elite production. Read Past Outlooks
Undergoes fifth surgery for leg
QBCentral Florida
Leg
January 29, 2019
Milton underwent another procedure on his right leg Friday, Matt Murschel of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
ANALYSIS
It's the fifth known procedure that Milton has required to stabilize the knee he dislocated Nov. 23. The two-time reigning American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year hasn't officially been ruled out for the 2019 season, but Milton seems unlikely to make it back to the field given the severe nature of his injury. Former Notre Dame quarterback Brandon Wimbush announced earlier this month that he would transfer to Central Florida for 2019, making him the frontrunner to claim the top job over incumbent Darriel Mack heading into the fall.
