Harmon entered the transfer portal earlier in the offseason, 247Sports.com reports. He's no longer listed on Rice's 2019 spring roster and is expected to leave the program.
ANALYSIS
Harmon will move on from Rice after appearing in seven games as a true freshman in 2018 and nabbing 10 receptions for 64 yards and a score. Should he move on to another FBS school, Harmon would need to sit out the 2019 season unless he's granted a waiver from the NCAA extending him immediate eligibility. Harmon's departure shouldn't prove too consequential with Rice bringing back three of its top four pass catchers from 2018.
