Bangladesh and West Indies will clash in the second one-day international of the three-match series in Dhaka on Tuesday. The home side will enter the contest with their eyes on the series trophy after clinching the first ODI by five wickets on Sunday.
In the batting department, the team will be relying on the in-form duo of Liton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim to continue their good run, whereas more will be expected of the experienced trio of Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah as well. On the bowling front, the team management will be once again banking on the likes of captain Mashrafe Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman and Mehidy Hasan to provide timely breakthroughs.
On the other hand, the visitors will enter in the contest knowing that this is their last chance to stay alive in the series. In the batting department, the team will be relying on the likes of Marlon Samuels, Shimron Hetmyer and Darren Bravo to score bulk of the runs, whereas in the bowling department, the onus will be on Keemar Roach, Keemo Paul and Devendra Bishoo to provide timely breakthroughs.
Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka will be used as the venue for the contest. Highest team score in a one-day international at the venue is 370-4, which was registered by India in the match against Bangladesh in 2011, whereas the lowest team score at the venue of 58 was registered by the home side against West Indies in March 2011.
