Santner has been excluded from the playing XI for Chennai Super Kings against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad on Wednesday, the stand-in skipper confirmed during the toss.
ANALYSIS
Santner has been excluded from playing XI because of injured MS Dhoni. As CSK have only Sam Billings as a specialist wicket-keeper other than MS Dhoni in the team. But as per IPL policy only four foreign players allowed to be the part of playing XI, as Dhoni got injured, Billings was the only option to select for the wicket-keeper role but, in the expense of another foreign players and it was Santner.
