Smashes six maximums in an over
BatsmanAfghanistan
October 14, 2018
Zazai blasted his way to 62 off 17 including four boundaries and seven maximums in Sunday's defeat to the Balkh Legends in the Afghanistan Premier League.
ANALYSIS
Chasing down 245 after Chris Gayle put on a six-hitting masterclass on a batsman friendly pitch, Zazai had a powerplay to remember. After three boundaries and a maximum in the second over, he smashed six sixes in the fourth over and reached his half-century on just 12 balls, tying Yuvraj Singh for the fastest fifty in a T20. While these pitches in Afghanistan have been extremely pro-batsman, the performances Zazai has put up have been impressive by any measure, coming less than a week after his maiden T20 century.
