Astle announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Thursday, ESPNcricinfo reports.
ANALYSIS
The 36-year-old leg-spinner appeared only in five Tests, nine ODIs, and five T20Is for New Zealand; however, he had a very much strong hold in domestic cricket where he played 119 First-Class matches, 94 List A, and 97 T20 games, picking 510 wickets, and scored 6,619 runs across all formats, has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Thursday.
