Strelnieks and CSKA Moscow entered negotiations Monday to terminate the two-year contract he signed with the club last summer, Sport24gr.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Strelnieks will be moving on from the Russian club after appearing in 23 EuroLeague contests and averaging 6.6 points, 1.9 assists, 1.6 rebounds and 0.9 three-pointers in 14.3 minutes per game while shooting 41.7 percent from downtown. The 30-year-old shouldn't have much trouble finding an opportunity elsewhere in Europe this offseason.
