It was a strong week for the staff, excluding DDD whose unsightly carcass languishes deep in last place, mercifully out of view. Everyone else was above .500, with my 10-3-1 mark winning the week. As a result, I'm only one game behind Pianowski who leads at 42-33-2.

Unanimous/Majority Picks

This week we have two unanimous picks: the Browns and Cardinals. Last week we were 3-0 on unanimous picks, winning with the Buccaneers, Dolphins and Colts to put us at 9-8-1 on the season. We went 8-5-1 on majority picks (three or more writers) to bring our season record to 39-36-2. Last year we went 27-22-2 on unanimous picks and 138-124-5 on majority picks.

Erickson	I have to admit surprise at both the Jaguars and Chiefs lines, especially the Chiefs. Here we have an undefeated team at home, against a team that got pantsed last week and that's considerably worse on the road. Meanwhile, the Jags' defense is an elite unit, better than the Seattle defense that shut down the Rams last week. The Rams have to travel and play three hours ahead of their time zone.
Pianowski	For the Chargers, there's no place like the road.
Liss	I love the Vikings at home getting more than a field goal in a tough, rivalry game, and the Case Keenum/Jerick McKinnon combo isn't a huge downgrade from Sam Bradford/Dalvin Cook. I also like the Redskins at home, coming off the bye, to throttle the 49ers, coming off an overtime game.
Stopa	Coming off the bye, at home, off a loss, I expect Atlanta to reassert it's dominance against a Dolphins team that is reeling in every way possible.
Del Don	This week is the opposite of last, as there are a bunch of games with big spreads... I struggled coming up with a best bet but settled on the Rams, which feels like a nice buy low/sell high opportunity, and Todd Gurley should exploit Jacksonville's weakness on defense.
