Sunday's main DraftKings slate begins at 3:00 PM Eastern time and features seven games. Read on to see which players stand out from the pack as the top options to target at their respective prices.
GOALIE
Thomas Greiss, NYI vs. MIN ($8,000): Greiss has been nearly perfect over his past four starts, stopping 128 of the 130 pucks flung his way. While he continues to serve as Robin Lehner's backup, the German netminder is worth turning to every time he's given the nod in net – and the Islanders playing in the second leg of a back-to-back won't hurt them comparatively with that also being the case for the visiting Wild. Minnesota ranks seventh from the bottom with just 2.80 goals per game, so Greiss is primed to maintain his stellar recent form.
CENTER
Dylan Larkin, DET at CHI ($7,000): Larkin continues to thrive even with the team around him performing suboptimally. He's two points shy of a point-per-game pace through 54 appearances, and the 22-year-old center's rapidly making up ground with five goals and six assists over his last eight games. Larkin also has 34 shots on goal over this dominant stretch, and he gets a terrific opportunity to stay hot against a Blackhawks club that's surrendering 3.64 goals per game – .01 shy of Ottawa's league-worst total.
Bryan Little, WPG at BUF ($4,600): Little is making the most of his role as the center on Winnipeg's second line and No. 2 power-play unit. Over his past 15 appearances, the veteran pivot has performed at a point-per-game pace while potting eight goals. Sabres netminder Carter Hutton, who has surrendered four-plus goals in each of his last four starts, will have a hard time slowing Little down in this one.
WING
Luke Kunin, MIN at NYI ($2,700): While scoring on Greiss will be tough, Kunin makes for an affordable against-the-grain play given his recent uptick in both playing time and production. His average ice time is under 14 minutes this season, but that number has risen to 17:20 over the past three contests. The 21-year-old forward has made the most of his increased usage, racking up five points over these three games. Kunin won't stay this cheap much longer if he keeps producing.
Brad Marchand, BOS vs. COL ($6,700): Marchand has done his best work at TD Garden this season, with 40 points – including 14 goals – in 29 home matches compared to 23 points – including six goals – in 25 road games. Of his 63 overall points, 24 have come with the extra man. He'll get a terrific opportunity to pad his power-play point total in this home matchup against an Avalanche club that sports one of the league's five most generous penalty kills at 76.2 percent.
Mats Zuccarello, NYR vs. TOR ($5,900): As one of just three teams that didn't play in Saturday's 14-game mega slate, the Rangers should have a freshness advantage against a Maple Leafs team that had to travel after an emotional 4-3 overtime win over the rival Canadiens. With starting netminder Frederik Andersen getting the nod for Saturday's game, Toronto will likely roll out backup Garret Sparks, who has allowed four-plus goals in five of 11 starts this season for this one. Look for Zuccarello to take advantage of Toronto's tired legs and add to his totals of five goals and 15 points from the past 10 games.
DEFENSE
Ryan McDonagh, TB at FLA ($4,600): McDonagh may not post the gaudy scoring totals of the game's top blueliners, but he's tremendously well-rounded and provides a terrific floor. In addition to a respectable one goal and three assists in the past nine games, McDonagh also has 18 shots on goal and 18 blocked shots. His high floor makes him a safe play, but McDonagh also has plenty of upside in this meeting with a Panthers club that's surrendering a 28th-ranked 3.34 goals per game.
Dougie Hamilton, CAR at NJ ($5,100): Hamilton continues to pepper the net with pucks, ranking third among all NHL blueliners with 173 shots on goal. While he was snakebitten earlier in his Hurricanes tenure, the offseason trade acquisition's luck has turned around recently with six goals and five assists in 17 games since the calendar flipped to 2019. A Devils team that's languishing at the bottom of the Metropolitan Division standings with just 20 wins in 54 games will have a hard time slowing Hamilton down.
