SLATE PREVIEW
Tonight's 11-game slate fires up at 7:00 p.m. ET with three matchups right off the bat, including a Metropolitan Division showdown between the Flyers and Hurricanes. The featured contest this evening is an Original Six meeting between the Bruins and the Canadiens. It feels like the Bruins should be clinching a playoff bid soon with the way they're playing, but the Habs are firmly in the race after notching wins in three of their last four outings.
The Pacific Division starts a little later in the night, and every game matters with this bunch. The Coyotes and Flames face off as two of four clubs sitting between 18 and 19 points so far.
There are four teams in the midst of back-to-back contests, and 22 total teams gearing up. It's tough to figure out who to start and who to keep out, so read on to find a strategy in setting your Tuesday DFS lineup.
GOALIES
Tuukka Rask ($9,100) is head and shoulders above the competition, and he's adequately priced here. He's recorded at least 20 fantasy points in all but one start this year. He's simply been matchup proof. The Canadiens provide a high ceiling as well with 34.2 shots on net per game -- the fifth most in the league. His counterpart, Carey Price ($8,500), has a .932 save percentage over the last six games, but it'll be tough against B's, who sport a five-game win streak and the league-leading power play (32.6 percent).
It's unsettled who will start between Jordan Binnington ($8,400) and Jake Allen ($7,400) for the first leg of back-to-back games, starting Tuesday in Vancouver. Allen can't be trusted in any matchup, and even Binnington can be faded as the Canucks have generated 5.6 goals per game and a 4-0-1 record at home. That makes Jacob Markstrom ($8,000) an intriguing play.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Stars vs. Avalanche rings up with a 5.5 O/U. Ben Bishop has held up his end of the bargain with a .922 save percentage and 2.33 GAA over 11 appearances. However, he sits with a 4-5-1 record due to a lack of offensive support, as the Stars rank second-worst in the league with 2.31 goals per game. Philipp Grubauer ($8,000) should benefit from that, as he has a respectable .918 save percentage this year.
Connor Hellebuyck ($7,800) has been superb at home this year with a .940 save percentage and 1.99 GAA. New Jersey has been pitiful on the road with just 1.75 goals per game, and they only have three wins to their name anyway, making Hellebuyck a top value start in this slate.
VALUE PLAYS/ONE-OFFS
The Blues were going to try out a few different wingers in Vladimir Tarasenko's (shoulder) spot, but Sammy Blais ($4,200) has certainly earned himself a few more games after scoring twice over the last three outings. Adam Gaudette's ($3,100) will be on his opponent's top line, and he's been just as productive with two points in as many games, and he's earned power-play minutes as well.
The Islanders are one of the toughest teams to score on, but Anthony Duclair ($3,900) may crack the code. The 24-year-old winger carries a five-game point streak into the contest, and he's fired 21 shots on net in that span.
New Jersey has allowed the second-most goals per game (3.92), so targeting a Jet or two is a solid strategy. Left-wing Nikolaj Ehlers ($5,800) or center Brian Little ($4,800) are solid adds depending on the position you need, as both skaters have at least five points and a plus-4 rating over the last five outings.
Alexander Nylander ($3,500) adds a scoring touch on the Blackhawks' top line. He has three points and 13 shots on net over the past four contests. Dylan Strome ($4,600) has even higher offensive upside at center. Both log time on the power play as well, and they're top value plays against the Sharks' porous defense.
FORWARD LINE STACKS
Boston Bruins (TOTAL: $25,900) 
C - Patrice Bergeron ($8,000)
W - Brad Marchand ($8,700)
W - David Pastrnak ($9,200)
This line hasn't cooled off and probably doesn't plan to anytime soon. They've combined for 31 points over the last four games, and they all work on the same power-play unit as well. Break the bank for this unit against the Canadiens' 29th-ranked penalty kill (69.8 percent).
Toronto Maple Leafs (TOTAL: $19,200) 
C - Auston Matthews ($8,600)
W - William Nylander ($5,400)
W - Andreas Johnsson ($5,200)
Matthews hasn't missed a step with John Tavares (finger) sitting out, as he's lit the lamp thrice and dished out two assists over the past four games. Tavares could return for this contest, and that would lighten the defensive pressure Matthews faces. Considering the Kings have allowed the most goals per game (4.07) this year, this unit is in line for an uptick in value.
Anaheim Ducks (TOTAL: $13,800) 
C - Ryan Getzlaf ($6,600)
W - Troy Terry ($3,500)
W - Nick Ritchie ($3,700)
The Wild haven't guarded the cage well lately, so this is a low-priced option to help balance out one of the previous stacks. They've been producing, too, as Getzlaf has four goals over the last five games while Ritchie and Terry have combined for six points in that span.
DEFENSEMEN
Alexander Edler ($5,500) is a shot-blocking guru, as he's hopped in front of 18 shots and fired 10 of his own over the last five contests. The floor is obviously intriguing, so his two three-point efforts this year could provide a handsome reward for gamers who deploy him, especially if Allen is in the crease.
Morgan Reilly ($6,500) is one of the top plays in this slate, as he's racked up 15 points -- four with the man advantage -- over four games. The Kings' can't keep their net empty, especially against opposing power plays, as their penalty kill ranks dead last in the league (67.3 percent). Tyson Barrie's ($4,500) off to a slow start, but he can chip in on the power play as well.
The floodgates are open in Philly, as the Flyers have yielded 23 goals over the past five contests. Dougie Hamilton ($6,600) and Jaccob Slavin ($5,100) could both feast on this matchup, as they both rank in the top 10 in scoring from the blue line with Hamilton coming in second at 16 through 14 contests.
Nate Schmidt ($4,400) has been back from injury for two games and managed a point in each contest. Neither came with the man advantage, but that could change against the Blue Jackets' 74.4-percent penalty kill rate.
