Leduc was traded to Ottawa on Saturday along with Jason Akeson, Phil Varone, and a conditional draft pick. Buffalo received Eric O'Dell, Cole Schneider, Alex Guptill, and Michael Sdao in the exchange.
ANALYSIS
Leduc has appeared in 54 games with AHL Rochester this season, tallying 16 points in that span. Simply put, the 23-year-old will most likely spend most of his time with AHL Binghamton, rendering the defenseman useless for fantasy purposes.

Blue Line Buzz: Deadline On The Blue Line
February 29, 2016
The Stars paid a high price for shot-blocking maven Kris Russell at the trade deadline, and RotoWire's Jason Chen rates the move as a boon for his fantasy value.
2015 Fantasy Outlook
Leduc is coming off a good season at AHL Rochester, with whom he scored 25 points in 76 games. He's a good skater and puck mover, but Leduc lacks the size and strength to be a capable defender and still at least a few years away from a regular role in the NHL. He'll likely serve as one of Rochester's power-play options and will only get a promotion to Buffalo in the event the Sabres are short on bodies.
