ANALYSIS
He goes by Misha and the story was so big that his pick was carried live on Chinese TV. He's a great story. As a kid, he struggled to play on the tiny rinks in Beijing, so his family came to Canada when he was 10. He played for the Oakville Rangers Triple-A team alongside Tampa Bay second-rounder Matthew Spencer, and spent this season with the varsity team at Lawrenceville School in New Jersey. He plans to go the Philips Andover Academy in Massachusetts next year.
