Brendan Woods

In 2014-15, his first full season at AHL Charlotte, Woods tied for fourth in team scoring with 30 points in 68 games, and also ranked fourth with 101 PIM. At 6-foot-3 and 201 pounds, the 23-year-old Woods has good size and strength, along with the versatility to play either center or wing. However, his offensive ability has been limited, even at the minor-league level. With Charlotte, Woods has been more of an energy-line player, which will likely be his role if and when he gets promoted to the NHL.
