Erik Burgdoerfer

Burgdoerfer appears to be little more than a depth defenseman at the AHL level. He played in just two games last year for Ottawa, notching one assist but spent the vast majority of the season with AHL Belleville. Given that he's 29 years old, Burgdoerfer likely doesn't fit into the Senators' long-term plans. Ottawa will probably be pushing young players into its lineup so it can see what it has this year. As a result, Burgdoerfer will likely remain with Belleville this year. Steer clear.
