Marian Gaborik (LW) NY Rangers – (Shoulder) Began skating with the team this week. Still no exact timetable on return, but is definitely getting close.
Steven MacIntyre (D) Edmonton – (Back) Did not play Friday night against Detroit. The Oilers' enforcer will most likely be out on Sunday night as well., but it surely won't impact too many fantasy rosters.
Theo Peckham (D) Edmonton – (Undisclosed Illness) Sat out of Friday night's game against Detroit, and status for Sunday is still uncertain.
Sheldon Souray (D) Edmonton – (Broken Hand) Will miss another week after breaking his hand in a fight last week.
Marian Hossa (RW) Chicago – (Upper Body) Will return on Sunday night against Edmonton.
Jeremy Morin (C) Chicago – (Lower Body) Left Saturday night's game after taking a slap shot in the back of the knee in his NHL debut. Status uncertain for Sunday night, but seems unlikely to play.
Martin Erat (RW) Nashiville – (Upper Body) Did not make the trip with the Preds for their road trip. His status will become more clear when team gets back from out west.
Ryan Suter (D) Nashville – (Leg) Also did not make trip out west with Preds. He was expected to be back by now, and should return to the ice once Nashville gets back from their road trip.
Kyle Chipchura (C) Anaheim – (Concussion) Suffering from post-concussion symptoms.
Dan Sexton (RW) Anaheim – (Nose) Took part in entire team practice on Saturday and is very close to getting back in action, it just won't be on Sunday night.

Long Term or IR

Ian Laperriere (C) Philadelphia – (Concussion) Will likely miss entire season.
Michael Leighton (G) Philadelphia – (Back) Has resumed skating but still out for two more weeks.
Matt Walker (D) Philadelphia – (Hip) Out 8-10 weeks.
Carlo Colaiacovo (D) St. Louis – (Concussion) Out indefinitely.
Barrett Jackman (D) St. Louis – (Knee) Will miss at least a month after suffering a knee injury earlier in the week.
Roman Polak (D) St. Louis – (Wrist) Will be re-evaluated in eight weeks after surgery to repair torn tendon in his right wrist.
Chris Drury (C) NY Rangers – (Finger) Getting closer, but still two weeks away from returning.
Vaclav Prospal (LW) NY Rangers – (Knee) Out until December.
David Bolland (D) Chicago – (Upper Body) No clear timetable for his return after being placed on injured-reserve earlier this week.
Matthew Lombardi (C) Nashville – (Concussion) Still having major problems with post-concussion symptoms and remains out indefinitely.
Matt Beleskey (LW) Anaheim – (Concussion) Says he is feeling better, but as we have seen, post-concussion symptoms are not to be taken lightly. Consider him still out indefinitely.
Jason Jaffray (RW) Anaheim – (Knee) Out 2-3 months.
Joffrey Lupul (RW) Anaheim – (Back) Has taken up skating, but will not even be evaluated to return to game action until late in the month.
Andy Sutton (D) Anaheim – (Thumb) Will miss six to eight weeks.

Transactions

Zack Smith (C) Ottawa – Recalled from Binghamton (AHL)
Nick Drazenovic (C) St. Louis – Recalled from Peoria (AHL)
Benn Ferreiro (C) San Jose – Recalled from Worcester (AHL)
Marcus Johansson (C) Washington – Assigned to Hershey (AHL)

Hot

Loui Eriksson (LW) Dallas – The Stars' winger had almost half of his season's point total this week for his fantasy owners. It has been a gigantic boost for owners lucky enough to start him this week.
Henrik Sedin (C) Vancouver – Sedin scored his first two goals of the season, and added three more assists to his impressive league-leading tally.
Patrick Kane (RW) Chicago – Kane has three goals and an assist this week, making him one of the week's top scorers, and he still has a game left to play on Sunday night.

Cold

Patrick Sharp (LW) Chicago – A very disappointing week for Sharp, who has been terrific this season. He has gotten owners negative points in most leagues, but does have a chance to rescue a poor week on Sunday night.
Tim Connolly (C) Buffalo – Connolly has had a brutal week from a fantasy standpoint, and is beginning to get booed on home ice every time he touches the puck.
Marc-Andre Fleury (G) Pittsburgh – Fleury got pulled seven minutes into Saturday night's game after giving up two soft goals. He also took the loss on Friday night against Anaheim. Brent Johnson has played much better than Fleury for the Pens in goal this season, making Fleury owners extremely nervous.

Recommended Pickup

Brandon Dubinsky (C) NY Rangers – Somehow Dubinsky remains unclaimed in a lot of leagues despite having ten goals in 14 games. He won't be out there much longer after a phenomenal week that has shown that his hot start is not a fluke.
