AROUND THE LEAGUE

Who's Hot

Joe Pavelski (C) San Jose - Pavelski is the hottest player in the league right now, and with the playoffs going on in most leagues, he has won his owners some money with the incredible week he has had. The native of Plover, Wisconsin has earned a staggering 12 points this week (4 G, 8 A).
Jamie Benn (LW) Dallas - While Pavelski is putting up huge numbers for the Sharks, Benn may be having the best sustained hot streak that any player has had in the NHL this season. Benn is on a 10-game point streak, and has gotten on the scoresheet in every single game this month for the Stars.

Who's Cold

Mike Fisher (C) Nashville - And while Jamie Benn has notched a point in every game this month, the opposite can be said for Fisher, who is 0-for-March in the points department. Still, it's hard to feel bad for Carrie Underwood's husband.
Mattias Ohlund (D) Tampa Bay - Ohlund's entire season has had the look of being the final year of his career. The veteran d-man has not earned a point since early January

Recommended Pickup

Matt Carle (D) Philadelphia - Carle could make a big impact on your roster down the home-stretch of the season if you need help in your defensive corps. For some reason Carle is widely avaiable in most leagues, despite 33 assists on the season and a plus-22.
