Jamie Moyle

Terrible effort in loss to Emily Whitmire Saturday
strawweightUFC
July 7, 2018
Moyle lost to Emily Whitmire via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) at UFC 226 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Moyle's slow start and dreadful finish left her with her second loss in three UFC bouts. Despite entering the fight as a healthy (-185) favorite, Moyle allowed Whitmire to land with regularity in Round 1 and score a takedown that essentially ended the contest in Round 3. The 29-year-old had a nice run with Invicta prior to joining the UFC, but she has proven to be nothing more than roster depth in her brief run with the company.

Added to UFC 226 prelims
strawweightUFC
June 28, 2018
Moyle will take on Emily Whitmire in a strawweight matchup at UFC 226 on July 7 in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Moyle was victorious in her UFC debut, defeating Kailin Curran via unanimous decision the The Ultimate Fighter: Season 24 Finale. She followed that up with a unanimous-decision defeat at the hands of Viviane Pereira in a fight that was pretty lopsided, despite the even 80-to-80 mark in the significant strikes department. She'll look to get back on track against a fellow unranked strawweight in Whitemire, who was submitted in the first round by Gillian Robertson in her only UFC appearance.

Moyle will be forced to withdraw from her UFC 220 matchup against Maryna Moroz due to an undisclosed injury, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moyle defeated Kailin Curran in her UFC debut the the TUF 24 finale, but followed that up with a loss to Viviane Pereira last June at UFC 212. The 28-year-old strawweight had been scheduled for the early prelims Saturday, but the late withdrawal will cancel the fight altogether. UFC 220 will move forward with 11 scheduled bouts.
Drops decision at UFC 212

Moyle lost to Viviane Pereira via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 28-29) at UFC 212 on Saturday in Rio de Janeiro.
ANALYSIS
It was a poor effort from a young lady who has struggled to find her footing since joining the UFC in December. Moyle built a reputation in Invicta as a tough, competent fighter, and even though she won her company debut against Kailin Curran, she has looked ordinary in both of her fights in the UFC. She was outworked by Pereira in Rounds 2 and 3 after getting off to a solid start. Moyle needs to figure out a way to pick up a victory in her next contest. There is zero room for error in the UFC's women's strawweight division these days.

Moyle will take on Viviane Pereira in a strawweight matchup at UFC 212 on June 3 in Brazil, MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Moyle may be nearly five years older than the 23-year-old prospect, but she has just five fights under her belt, while Pereira sports a 12-0 professional record. Both fighters won their UFC debuts, but Moyle was a bit more convincing, scoring a unanimous decision against Kailin Curran. Moyle will also have the crowd against her while going up against a native Brazilian.
Scores win in UFC debut against Kailin Curran

December 3, 2016
Moyle won her UFC debut on Saturday, defeating Kailin Curran via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Moyle showed a little bit of everything in her first fight with the company. She landed 114/175 total strikes (66%), she scored three takedowns (although he failed on seven attempts) and she racked up more than a round and a half (7:38) worth of control time. It needs to be pointed out that she was facing an opponent who has struggled defensively over the course of her UFC career, but it was a nice job nonetheless for the debuting Moyle.
