Silva lost to Adam Borics via submission (rear-naked choke) at 1:46 of Round 3 at Bellator 205 on Friday in Boise, Idaho.
ANALYSIS
Silva really need to look good in his Bellator debut. He signed with PFL/WSOF in 2016 after an impressive career in his native Brazil. However, he lost both of his fights for that promotion before leaving the company. Things got off to a good start for Silva. He landed hard shots in the first two rounds, and he appeared to be giving Borics fits. However, in the third round, Silva shot in for a takedown. Borics stuff the attempt and transitioned to the back. While transitioning, he locked in the choke and finished the fight. Silva is clearly a solid fighter, but three-straight losses might be enough for Bellator.

Silva lost to Timur Valiev via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:12 of Round 3 at PFL Fight Night on Thursday in Washington, D.C.
ANALYSIS
Prior to last year, Silva had spent almost his entire career in his native Brazil. In his U.S. debut, he challenged Marlon Moraes for the WSOF bantamweight title and lost via injury stoppage. This was his first fight back following the injury. He was able to land some strikes on Valiev, but unfortunately for him, he had zero answers for the Russian's wrestling game. In the third round, Silva got desperate and tried to stand. Valiev used that opportunity to lock in the fight-ending submission. Silva falls to 25-6 as a professional.
