Can't avoid Neiman Gracie's submission game at Bellator 180
Marfone lost to Neiman Gracia via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:27 of Round 2 at Bellator 180 on Saturday in New York City.
ANALYSIS
The bout was originally supposed to be part of the Spike TV card. However, the bout was the swing bout, so it did not go on until after the co-main event. Gracie obviously had the grappling advantage, but early in the fight Marfone did a good job surviving on the ground. Unfortunately it did not last. In the second round, Gracie took Marfone down, took the back and finish via rear-naked choke.
