Loses third-straight fight at Bellator 194
FlyweightBellator
February 16, 2018
Julaton lost to Heather Hardy via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) at Bellator 194 on Friday in Uncasville, Conn.
ANALYSIS
Julaton comes from a boxing background. However, in her MMA career, she has always tried to control fights with her clinching. This did allow her to slow the pace against Hardy, but it was not nearly enough to sway the judges. Hardy had more offense, while Julaton mostly spent the fight trying to push her opponent into the cage. Julaton is now 2-4 in MMA. Her next fight will be a rematch against Hardy, but this fight will be in a boxing ring. Bellator has already confirmed the bout.

Drops decision against Lisa Blaine in her Bellator debut
FlyweightBellator
October 20, 2017
Julaton lost to Lisa Blaine via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 28-29) at Bellator 185 on Friday in Uncasville, Conn.
ANALYSIS
Even though Julaton went only 2-2 in One Championship, Bellator was able to get a lot of positive press after signing the former boxing champion. In this fight, she was facing a clearly overmatched opponent. Blaine is only 2-0 and is not a full time fighter. Julaton tried to take advantage of the opportunity. While she nearly did enough to win, she did not look particularly good. At distance, Julaton landed some kicks, but she struggled in the clinch and on the ground against Blaine. Julaton has only been fighting MMA since 2014, so there might be some room for improvement, but she is already 37 so this might be her peak.
