Fighting St. Preux in March
Nzechukwu will fight Ovince Saint Preux at UFC Vegas 88 on March 16, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Nzechukwu's loss to Dustin Jacoby in August snapped what had been a three-fight win streak, but he'll have an opportunity to get back on track versus Saint Preux, who hasn't won a fight since May 2022. Nzechukwu will have a two-inch height and three-inch reach advantage over his opponent.

Quickly stopped by Dustin Jacoby
Nzechukwu lost to Dustin Jacoby via TKO (punches) at 1:22 of Round 1 at UFC on ESPN 50 on Saturday in Nashville.
ANALYSIS
The defeat snaps a string of three-straight stoppage wins for Nzechukwu. Kennedy connected with a left hand during an exchange along the fence but ate a right from Jacoby in the process, which dropped him. We've seen Nzechukwu fight through plenty of tough situations during the course of his UFC run, but referee Gary Copeland never gave him the chance, as he pulled the plug after a handful of follow-up shots from Jacoby. Now 31 years of age, Kennedy has been wildly inconsistent over the course of his first ten UFC bouts, sporting a 6-4 record.

Jacoby fight scheduled
Nzechukwu will fight Dustin Jacoby in a light heavyweight bout on Aug. 5, according to Nolan King of USA Today.
ANALYSIS
Nzechukwu has an opportunity to get himself into the UFC light heavyweight rankings by defeating No. 15 Jacoby. The unranked fighter finished each of his last three opponents. Meanwhile, Jacoby has lost twice in a row via decision.

Third straight stoppage win
Nzechukwu defeated Devin Clark via technical submission (guillotine choke) at 2:28 of Round 2 at UFC 288 on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey.
ANALYSIS
It's the second straight fight in which Nzechukwu found himself in all sorts of trouble early, only to battle through and earn a stoppage win. Kennedy has a unique ability to excel in difficult situations and turn the tide in his favor. He appeared to be finished in this one following a brutal onslaught from Clark along the fence, only to somehow emerge and crush his opponent in the latter stages of Round 1 before choking him out midway through Round 2. These slow starts are going to doom Kennedy eventually, but they haven't as of yet. Set to turn 30 years of age in mid-June, Nzechukwu has won three straight fights, all via stoppage.
