Fighting Karine Silva
FlyweightUFC
January 19, 2024
Lipski agreed to fight Karine Silva in a flyweight bout at UFC's April 27 event, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Lipski is riding a three-fight win streak -- all as a betting underdog -- and will now face an up-and-comer. Silva came up through Dana White Contender Series in 2021 and has three submission victories in Round 1 in each of her first three fights.

Third straight upset win
FlyweightUFC
December 16, 2023
Lipski defeated Casey O'Neill via submission (armbar) at 1:18 of Round 2 at UFC 296 on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's a third straight win for Lipski and the third straight fight in which she found herself the betting underdog. This was a far more impressive performance than her decision victories over Melissa Gatto and JJ Aldrich. Lipski was more than content to slug it out with O'Neill given her clear speed advantage on the feet. Although it goes in the books as a submission win, the truth of the matter is that the damage generated by Lipski in the stand-up forced her opponent to the mat, creating the opportunity to clamp on the arm bar which closed the show. The finish would go on to earn her a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus, one of three awarded on the evening.
Fighting O'Neill at UFC 296
FlyweightUFC
September 28, 2023
Lipski will take on Casey O'Neill at UFC 296 on Dec. 16, AgFight reports.
ANALYSIS
Lipski has shown she demands more respect after taking victories over JJ Aldrich in March and Melissa Gatto in July as an underdog. O'Neill has dealt with injuries over the last year, but has only lost one fight as a professional. Lipski is 3-3 over her last six bouts.
Pulls second straight upset
FlyweightUFC
July 1, 2023
Lipski defeated Melissa Gatto via split decision (30-27, 28-29, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
It's Lipski's second upset victory in a span of less than four months. She was nowhere near effective in the final ten minutes of this fight as the opening five, but Lipski never allowed Gatto to sustain any sort of offense. She defended all seven of her opponent's takedown attempts, which almost certainly won her the fight. Lipski is an effective fighter on the feet, particularly in short spurts, but unfortunately she has zero history of defeating better competition over the course of her four-and-a-half years with the company. Now 5-5 in her first ten UFC bouts, expect Lipski to hover around the .500 mark moving forward.
Added to July 1 card
FlyweightUFC
April 26, 2023
Lipski will take on Melissa Gatto in a flyweight matchup at the UFC event scheduled for July 1 in Las Vegas, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Lipski has won two of her last three but is still below .500 in the UFC, though she has a chance to even out her record here against the 2-1 Gatto. She also has activity in her favor, fighting twice since Gatto last took the Octagon. Lipski lands at a slightly higher volume than Gatto, but also gets hit herself more. Gatto has the edge in both reach (two inches) and offensive wrestling volume.
Easily win as heavy underdog
FlyweightUFC
March 11, 2023
Lipski defeated JJ Aldrich via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Lipski looked nothing like the fighter that was knocked out in 65 seconds by Priscila Cachoeira last August. A stand-up fighter by trade, Lipski managed to fight off a dozen takedown attempts from Aldrich, which allowed her to dominate this striking exchanges between the two. Lipski has proven to be capable of a strong performance like this every once in a while, but her now 4-5 record in her first nine UFC bouts suggests she is unlikely to replicate this success for an extended period of time moving forward.
