Not competitive in UFC debut
January 19, 2019
Lipski dropped her UFC debut on Saturday, falling to Joanne Calderwood via unanimous decision (26-30, 26-30, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night in Brooklyn.
Lipski's debut couldn't have gone much worse. She spent the entirety of Round 1 being dominated by Calderwood on the ground and she was never able to get her striking game going. Lipski's fight IQ was particularly poor throughout the course of the bout. Perhaps it was nerves, but Lipski looked dreadful in a fight in which she entered as a -200 favorite. Lipski, who turns 25 years old next week, needs to get her act together her next time out.

UFC debut booked

Lipski will take on Maryna Moroz in a flyweight battle at UFC Argentina on Nov. 17, Combate reports.
Lipski will be competing in her first-ever UFC fight, and while she's just 24 years old, the Brazilian has managed to get valuable experience in the sport. She captured the flyweight title in the Poland-based KSW promotion, and even defended it a few times. Lipski has also shown a propensity for finishes, as her professional record of 11-3 contains six KO/TKO and two submission victories. Now is the time to see if that will carry over against UFC-caliber competition, though Lipski certainly has a better chance than many newcomers to the promotion.
