Arnold Allen
Stays undefeated under UFC banner
March 16, 2019
Allen defeated Jordan Rinaldi via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night in London on Saturday.
Allen landed several big kicks in the first round and charged in the closing seconds, but Rinaldi was able to withstand that onslaught. The second round was a clinic in striking defense, as Allen used good head movement to avoid nearly all of Rinaldi's power shots while continuing to pepper his opponent from the outside. Allen started turning up the punishment in the final minute of the second, landing several jabs and body shots that once again almost finished the job. Rinaldi withstood another flurry and was saved by the bell, but the damage was done going into the third. Rinaldi never managed to create much offense, and the little he did was matched with hard counters by Allen. "Almighty" was also never truly threatened by Rinaldi's takedown attempts. While the performance was impressive, critics could argue that Allen could have made more of an effort to finish. He seemed to save his big bursts for the final 10-15 seconds of each round when it was a bit too late for a fight-ending sequence. Nonetheless there's no denying Allen's raw ability at 25 years old. He's now a perfect 5-0 under the UFC banner.

January 28, 2019
Allen (13-1-0) is scheduled to face Jordan Rinaldi in a featherweight match March 16 at UFC London, freelance MMA journalist Simon Head reports.
Allen, a native Britain, should have the home crowd behind him in the showdown with Rinaldi, who carries a 14-6-0 record into the bout. The 25-year-old's most recent UFC match came last May, when he notched a three-round victory over Mads Burnell via front-choke submission.
Gets new opponent for TUF Finale

Allen will take on Rick Glenn at the TUF 28 finale on Nov. 30.
Allen was originally scheduled to square off against Gilbert Melendez, but Melendez was forced to withdraw with an injury. The 24-year-old will be looking to extend a six-match winning streak, which includes all four of his fights at the UFC level. His opponent, Glenn, won his most recent fight, a split decision against Dennis Bermudez at UFC Fight Night 133 in mid-July, but is just 3-2 with the UFC.
Allen with comeback submission victory in Round 3
May 27, 2018
Allen defeated Mads Burnell via submission (front choke) at 2:41 of Round 3 at UFC Fight Night on Sunday in Liverpool.
It seemed as if this fight was over for Allen. He had some success striking in the first round, but then was taken down for the majority of the fight. He had a very hard time getting up and was taken down multiple times in each round. It was hard for him to get up because Burnell was content to stay in the full guard and half guard which didn't give "Almighty" space to get to his feet. In the third round Burnell went for a takedown, and when he changed levels and stuck his head on Allen's hip the English fighter sunk in the choke and got the tap.
Wins battle of prospects over Makwan Amirkhani
March 18, 2017
Allen defeated Makwan Amirkhani via split decision (28-29, 30-27, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.
This fight had a little bit of everything. Both fighters went for takedowns and rolled for several reversals. The biggest difference came on the feet. Allen was the better striker and had the better cardio. After the first round, he dominated the striking exchanges and landed the better punches. Amirkhani was solid early in the fight, but he continued to fade over the course of the fight. Allen moves to 3-0 in the UFC after making his debut in 2015.
