AF Corse has confirmed that it will participate in the Rolex 24 at Daytona with a Ferrari entry involving the Pro-Am champions from this year's Italian GT Sprint Championship. Matteo Cressoni and Simon Mann will be joined by Ferrari factory drivers Nicklas Nielsen and Serra for the GT Daytona entry into the IMSA season-opener, sportscar365.com reports.

Thursday's Rolex 24 practice 2 would see Serra turn in the fastest lap in GT Daytona in the No. 51 Spirit of Race Ferrari 488 GT3, while Trent Hindman and Ben Keating completed the top three in class for Meyer Shank Racing and Mercedes-AMG Team Riley Motorsports, respectively, sportscar365.com reports.

In GT Daytona, Serra vaulted past Alvaro Parente and into the class lead with under 40 minutes to go and held on to take the victory in the No. 63 Ferrari 488 GT3 for Scuderia Corsa, sportscar365.com reports.

Serra narrowly edged Jack Hawksworth and Sheldon van der Linde to earn the GT Daytona class pole in the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3. Serra's best lap of 1:19.695 was just 0.037 seconds faster than Hawksworth in the No. 15 3GT Racing Lexus RC F GT3, while van der Linde was a further 0.012 seconds back in third for Montaplast by Land Motorsport, sportscar365.com reports.

Serra took the GT Daytona class pole for Spirit of Race for this weekend's Rolex 24 at Daytona in a Ferrari 488 GT3 lockout of the front row in the team's second consecutive Rolex 24 pole, sportscar365.com reports.
