FORWARDS

Marcus Rashford, MUN at NEW (£21): United are averaging three goals per game since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over, which has clearly benefited the United attack. Rashford has been a main beneficiary of the move, as he's scored two goals and provided one assist over that time span, while also taking three shots (two on target) per game. A trip to Newcastle is another good opportunity for Rashford to continue this trend.

Raul Jimenez, WOL v. CP (£17): It's been feast or famine for Jimenez this season, as he's sandwiched double-digit fantasy performances with a few duds. Wolves have been less than prolific this season with just 23 goals in 21 matches, though Jimenez has been involved in 10 (six goals, four assists). Palace are a tight defensive side with most of their woes coming from their inability to score goals, and while Wilfried Zaha (£18) is their best attacking option, he's hasn't hit double-digit fantasy points since Dec. 1.

Steve Mounie, HUD v. BUR (£14): Burnley allow the most shots of any team on the slate, which should give Mounie an opportunity to justify his low price. Quality options at forward are hard to come by on this slate, so it may be worth taking a chance on Mounie, especially if you want to get both Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard.

MIDFIELDERS

Paul Pogba, MUN at NEW (£24): Pogba has been unstoppable since the departure of Jose Mourinho, as he's scored four goals and provided three assists in the past three games. He's taken 14 shots (nine on goal) over that period, which has also helped him stack up big performances. Newcastle have been in the top half for goals conceded this season, though Pogba's current form along with United's past three performances make this one of the easier selections. He'll likely be one of the top-owned players with Eden Hazard (£27), who also has a quality matchup against Southampton.

Willian, CHE v. SOU (£20): If you don't have the budget for Hazard then you can pivot down to Willian, who has had at least 7.15 fantasy points in his past five matches. He doesn't have the goal upside of Hazard, but he does take a large majority of set pieces. Southampton have conceded at least two goals in their past four matches, which should give the Chelsea attack plenty of chances in front of net.

Philip Billing, HUD v. BUR (£14): Billing is obviously not the sexiest choice, but his ability to help out defensively along with some attacking stats give him a solid floor. Couple those characteristics with his cheap price and matchup with one of the Premier League's worst defenses, and you have yourself a viable midfield option.

DEFENDERS

Ashley Young, MUN at NEW (£16): To be clear, I'm not playing Young for his clean sheet potential as United haven't shut out an opponent since Nov. 27. As noted for Pogba and Rashford, United have been finding the back of the net at a high rate in their past three matches. Young hasn't been able to get in on the scoring yet, but he still remains United's main free-kick taker, and is worth consideration in a match United are highly favored in. Luke Shaw (£16) costs the same but doesn't have a share of any set pieces, which makes me favor Young.

Matt Doherty, WOL v. CP (£15): Wolverhampton are tied for the second-best clean sheet odds, as they are set to host a Crystal Palace side averaging fewer than one goal per game. Doherty and the Wolves' backline have been able to keep them in games due to their stinginess, which has allowed them to be a top-third defensive side.

Zanka, HUD v. BUR (£13): Burnley have found scoring goals away from home a difficult task, as they've netted just seven times in 10 matches. Zanka is not involved much in the Huddersfield attack, but he does offer a solid floor with his defensive contributions. His low price and potential for a clean sheet against a poor attacking side take much of the risk out of his inclusion.

GOALKEEPER

Lukasz Fabianski, WHU v. BHA (£14): Brighton's attack has hardly been prolific when playing away from home, as they've scored just seven goals in 10 matches. You could spend up for Kepa (£16) or David de Gea (£15), but as we've seen over the past few slates that goalkeeping is the equivalent of roulette. Give me Fabianski against a bad attacking side, the potential for a clean sheet and few saves over the extra costs. David Button (£22) is the most expensive keeper on the slate and seems like a misprint.
