PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS

GOALKEEPER

Keylor Navas, RMD at ATL ($7,000): Navas' price isn't cheap, but it's $700 less than Gianluigi Buffon, who probably has the best save upside of any keeper on the slate. However, Navas should still see plenty of shots come his way as Atletico try to stage the comeback.

DEFENDER

Danilo, RMD at ATL ($5,600): With Dani Carvajal ($6,200) likely out for the season with a hamstring injury, Danilo could get the start in his place, like he did this past weekend when picked up an assist in 90 minutes against Granada. He provides solid salary savings while still having the opportunity to pick up plenty of defensive stats, and if he doesn't make the starting XI, Nacho could get the call and makes for a fine play at just $100 more.

Jemerson, MCO at JUV ($5,800): With plenty of expensive attacking options, Jemerson also provides decent defensive upside at a relatively cheap salary. Monaco are likely to attack plenty in the match, and if you think they can break through then Djibril Sidibe ($6,000) should get some consideration, but with how good the Juventus attack has been, Jemerson should get plenty of clearance, blocked shot and interception opportunities.

MIDFIELDER

Casemiro, RMD at ATL ($8,100): While he's primarily known for his defensive responsibilities, Casemiro has an assist in each of this last two Champions League matches. However, he's still been racking up the defensive stats and looks poised to keep that going against an Atletico side that needs to make up a three-goal deficit. Whether they do that or not (it's doubtful), Casemiro should be plenty involved on both ends of the pitch.

Yannick Carrasco, ATL v. RMD ($5,900): Carrasco has taken 12 shots in his last three La Liga starts, and while he was fairly disappointing in the first leg against Real Madrid, Atletico will need him to be more active in the attack if they want to come back. The nicest part of selecting him is his price, as he's significantly lower than some of the other options while having decent goal upside for the 21st-most-expensive midfielder.

FORWARD

Gonzalo Higuain, JUV v. MCO ($11,200): Higuain has the best anytime goal-scoring odds and may be the third or fourth-highest owned forward on the slate. With plenty of fantasy managers thinking Monaco will attack heavily and score, let's remember they are going to try to do so against a Juventus side that has allowed just two Champions League goals this season. Additionally, Higuain will be working against the worst defensive side of the four playing this week, which certainly helped him bag two goals in their opening match.

Cristiano Ronaldo, RMD at ATL ($13,700): Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann ($10,500) is likely to be heavily owned as the best attacking option for a team that needs to make up a three-goal deficit, but don't overlook the fact that the deficit is thanks to Ronaldo's first-leg hat trick. It was actually Ronaldo's second hat trick at the Vicente Calderon Stadium this season, and he'll now get a chance to put the nail in the coffin against their hated city rival.
