Warriors Topple Celtics, 107-97
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics, 107-97, at TD Garden on Friday night in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. The series is tied, 2-2.

The Warriors (2-2) were in semi-desperation mode coming into the series despite only being down 2-1, and they did their best to hang with the Celtics (2-2) throughout a first half that ended with Boston holding a 54-49 advantage. However, as has been the case thus far in the series, Golden State was able to change the dynamic of the game for the moment in the third quarter with a 30-24 edge, and although the home squad ultimately held a 94-90 lead with 5:18 remaining, the Dubs finished on a dominating 17-3 run over the final 4:55 to close out the series-evening victory.

Stephen Curry continued his stellar postseason by leading the Warriors with 43 points, adding 10 rebounds and four assists. Klay Thompson followed with 18 points, two rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal. Andrew Wiggins generated a massive 17-point, 16-rebound double-double that included two assists and one steal. Jordan Poole poured in 14 points.

Jayson Tatum paced the Celtics with a 23-point, 11-rebound double-double that included six assists, three blocks and one steal. Jaylen Brown furnished 21 points, six rebounds, two assists and one steal. Marcus Smart delivered 18 points, five assists, four rebounds and four steals. Derrick White netted 16 points along with a rebound, assist and steal apiece.

The two teams now have the weekend off and reconvene back at Chase Center for Game 5 on Monday night.
