Warriors Defeat Celtics in Game 6, 103-90, Crowned as NBA Champs
The Golden State Warriors defeated the host Boston Celtics, 103-90, in Game 6 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden on Thursday.

This gives Golden State a 4-2 series win. They now have four titles since 2015.

In this deciding Game 6, Golden State went on a 21-0 run between the first and second quarters to take control of this deciding game. That gave them a 15-point lead midway through the third quarter and never relinquished the lead after that. In fact, they never got within an eight-point margin after that devastating run. The Warriors shot 19-of-46 from three-point range while holding the Celtics to 11-of-28 from long range. Golden State recorded 13 steals to Boston's eight, while winning the turnover battle, 22-15. They also outscored them in second-chance points, 21-13.

The Warriors (4-2) were led by Stephen Curry, collecting 34 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Andrew Wiggins amassed 18 points, six rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks. Klay Thompson compiled 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Draymond Green generated 12 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks. Jordan Poole led the bench with 15 points, three rebounds and two assists.

The Celtics (2-4) were led by Jaylen Brown and his 34 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Al Horford accumulated 19 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Jayson Tatum tallied 13 points, three rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Robert Williams registered 10 points, seven rebounds and five blocks, while Marcus Smart had nine points, six rebounds, nine assists and two steals.
