Leaving school for NBA
Williams announced Monday via his personal Twitter account that he plans to sign with an agent and forgo his remaining eligibility at Duke to enter the 2022 NBA Draft.

Williams was one of the nation's top interior defenders during his sophomore season at Duke, as he averaged 7.4 boards and 2.8 blocks per game while scoring efficiently (11.2 points on 72.1 percent shooting from the field) on the other end. The seven-foot center is one of several Duke underclassmen expected to leave school early for the draft, with freshmen Paolo Banchero, Trevor Keels and A.J. Griffin all being good bets to follow suit in the days to come.
