A season-ending undisclosed injury suffered in September made Burks's 2019 campaign with the Argonauts a short one. The runningback appeared in just six games with Toronto, carrying the ball 34 times for 204 yards while hauling in 12 catches for 144 yards and one touchdown. Burks, who was released by the Argonauts on Feb. 3, will join a backfield led by Shaquille Cooper.
