Gameday Injuries: Divisional Round

Gameday Injuries: Divisional Round

This column is meant to offer our best predictions on what players will/will not play, as of Noon ET on Saturday. For the official active/inactive reports, please see our Latest NFL Player News.

We're down to the final eight in the battle to participate in Super Bowl LVI, and for those playing postseason Fantasy contests, there is a refreshingly light injury report for the divisional round. Quarterbacks and tight ends don't have a single representative, while running backs and receivers have only a sparse amount of walking wounded. Additionally, there is just one truly notable question mark in terms of availability coming into the weekend and one very noteworthy return from injured reserve. Without further ado, let's dive into the latest on the injury landscape as of Saturday morning:

RUNNING BACKS

The Titans' Derrick Henry (foot) was activated from injured reserve Friday and will play in Saturday afternoon's game against the Bengals. Henry practiced without setbacks all week and reportedly looked refreshed after not having played since Week 8, but it remains to be seen if he'll log a normal workload with D'Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard available as very capable options to spell him.

The Chiefs' Darrel Williams (toe) is questionable for Sunday evening's game against the Bills after only logging a limited practice Friday this week. Even if Williams suits up, he could find himself third in the pecking order for carries with Clyde Edwards-Helaire returning from a shoulder injury and Jerick McKinnon having performed well

Even if Williams suits up, he could find himself third in the pecking order for carries with Clyde Edwards-Helaire returning from a shoulder injury and Jerick McKinnon having performed well with an expanded role in the wild-card win over the Steelers.

The Buccaneers' Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has until 4pm ET on Saturday to be activated from injured reserve. If Fournette, who last played Week 15, does suit up, he'll be in line to step right back into a heavy workload with Ronald Jones (ankle) out of action.

The Buccaneers' Ronald Jones (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Rams after once again missing practice all week. Second-year back Ke'Shawn Vaughn and veteran Giovani Bernard would be in line to handle the bulk of Tampa Bay's backfield work versus Los Angeles if Leonard Fournette (hamstring) also sits out, while Vaughn would likely serve as Fournette's primary backup if the latter does play.

WIDE RECEIVERS

The Packers' Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) is doubtful for Saturday night's game against the 49ers after missing the last two practices of the week. In Valdes-Scantling's likely absence, the returning Randall Cobb is expected to serve as the No. 3 receiver, while Allen Lazard and Equanimeous St. Brown could see more downfield work as a result.

The Packers' Randall Cobb (groin) was activated from injured reserve Thursday and will serve as the No. 3 receiver in Saturday night's game against the 49ers after practicing without limitations this week.

The Buccaneers' Cyril Grayson (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams after only managing a limited Friday practice this week. If Grayson sits out, it could mean a larger downfield role for Scotty Miller with Breshad Perriman (hip) already ruled out.

The Buccaneers' Breshad Perriman (hip) is out for Sunday's game against the Rams after missing practice all week. Perriman's absence could lead to some downfield targets for Scotty Miller as the likely No. 3 receiver.

The Bengals' Stanley Morgan (hamstring) is questionable for Saturday afternoon's game against the Titans after finishing the week with two limited practices. Morgan would serve as no better than the No. 4 receiver if he does suit up against Tennessee.

KEY DEFENSIVE PLAYERS

Cornerbacks

The Buccaneers' Sean Murphy-Bunting (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.

The Packers' Jaire Alexander (shoulder) is questionable for Saturday night's game against the 49ers.

Safeties

The Rams' Taylor Rapp (concussion) is out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.

Linebackers

The Buccaneers' Jason Pierre-Paul (personal) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Rams.
