Cameron Champ
25-Year-Old Golfer
2019–20 Fantasy Outlook
It didn't take Champ long to make his mark on the PGA Tour, but when the calendar turned to 2019, he all but disappeared. Champ won the Sanderson Farms Championship in October of 2018, and he also carded two additional top-10s before the end of the year, but 2019 was a disaster. Champ failed to post a single top-10 in 2019 and was only able to finish inside the top-25 twice. There is a bright side to all of this however. First, one of those top-25s from 2019 came in his final start, at the Northern Trust. Second, even with a win on his resume, his price is still reasonable heading into this season. Read Past Outlooks
Teeing it up at TPC Craig Ranch
May 10, 2021
Champ (undisclosed) is listed in the field for this week's AT&T Byron Nelson.
Champ withdrew prior to the Valspar Championship due to an undisclosed reason, but he'll return to tournament action this week for his AT&T Byron Nelson debut at TPC Craig Ranch. Champ most recently placed T34-T26 at the Valero Texas Open and the Masters after missing back-to-back cuts at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the PLAYERS Championship. He's just 128th in the FedEx Cup standings this season, but Champ is still qualified for next week's PGA Championship.

2018 Fantasy Outlook
The 23-year-old out of Texas A&M burst onto the scene in 2017 at the U.S. Open, when he finished the first two days in a tie for eighth before ultimately posting a T32 in his major championship debut. His 2018 Tour campaign was highlighted by a win at the Utah Championship top-25s in half of his 20 starts. Champ missed just four cuts while ranking sixth in birdie average, fourth in GIR percentage and first in driving distance. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him in the running for Rookie of the Year honors on the PGA Tour in 2019.
