Ce qualified for the round of 16 of the MundoTenis Open after being awarded a walkover against Makenna Jones on Monday.

ANALYSIS
Ce booked her place in the next round, courtesy of a walkover win. The 30-year-old lost the first set with a score of 6-3 and the second set was tied at 6-6 when Jones had to retire. Next up for Ce will be Anca Todoni.
