The Thursday DFS slate starts at 2:20 p.m. EDT featuring two games – the Diamondbacks at the Cubs and the White Sox at the Angels. That leaves nine games for the main slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT. There is no game at Coor's Field, though there is another game in Arlington as the As wrap up their series with the Rangers.

Nick Kingham, PIT vs NYM ($8,500): Kingham's 1.105 WHIP suggests his 4.11 ERA should be lower, especially considering he's struck out almost a batter per inning this season. His minor league numbers were excellent before his callup and the Mets are a good matchup. New York has a .304 wOBA against right-pitching, seventh lowest in baseball. Kingham has also been much better at home than on the road this season with a 2.90 ERA and .90 WHIP.
Cheap GPP Consideration: Tyler Mahle, CIN vs PHI ($6,700): Mahle was in a good groove just before the All-Star break with seven consecutive starts allowing three runs or fewer. However, he's been more hittable in his last two starts (eight innings), giving up 11 earned runs. Working in Mahle's favor is that he hasn't faced the Phillies, who like to strike out against right-handed pitching.
